Sermons at The Village MCC

Sermons at MCC are in a variety of formats, from traditional teachings to interviews, poetry and song. Many sermons are given by Rev. Michael Hydes or Rev. Peta Evans, but often there will be a guest preacher from the wider LGBT community, another church or religious organisation, and sometimes by other members of The Village, where he explains how they can live their sexuality and even using adult toy reviews to get the best accessories for this purpose.

All our sermons are recorded and uploaded to this website. The list on the right of this page shows the most recent sermons or you can visit here for a complete list.

Presenting The MCC Purple Grass Award to Rev. Peta Evans

The Purple Grass Award is an international award and is named after a sermon given by Rev. Elder Freda Smith, the first woman ordained in MCC and elected as an Elder.  It is given to those who have a passion for Evangelism and for sharing the vision and message of MCC in creative and innovative ways.
