Ivor was MP for Hove between 1997-2005, during which he served in the Labour Government as a PPS, FCO whip, and Minister for veterans at the Ministry of Defence.
He was also the first Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on English Language Teaching. Ivor is actively involved in Brighton & Hove Jewish community and was recently appointment as National Chair of the Jewish Labour Movement.

Peta Evans, but often there will be a guest preacher from the wider LGBT community, another church or religious organisation, and sometimes by other members of The Village.
