The Village News October 2018

Time goes past FAST!! In just a few weeks it’ll be time for our annual meeting (The first Sunday in December) and then we’re into Christmas!

If you would like to become a member before our AGM then please give me a call, either Rev. Peta or I would be happy to grab a coffee with you and talk about what it means to be a member of The Village MCC. If you would like to support the church as a board member then please talk to me or an existing board member, (Keith, Wendy, Rev. Peta, Simon).

This year’s Christmas Eve service is NOT on Christmas Eve! Because Christmas eve falls on a Monday we are going to use our Sunday service as our special celebratory service.  So, our Christmas service is on Sunday, Dec 23rd. If you have a song to share, or a lighthearted poem to share then please let me know. I want to ensure that everyone who wants to be included can do so. It’s open to anyone so invite your friends along.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS FRIDAY DECEMBER 14TH. PLEASE LET ME KNOW VIA EMAIL OR TEXT MESSAGE AND ENSURE YOU GET A REPLY. Please don’t leave it until the last minute. This year’s theme is FINDING LOVE IN UNEXPECTED PLACES.!!

I hope you enjoy the run up to Christmas. May it be full of love and joyful expectation.

Love

Rev. Michael.
